Victorious Frenchman Linard, Lukas Tintera to play European Tour in Vienna

The third season of the D+D REAL Czech Challenge organized by the RELMOST promoter agency was conquered by Thomas Linard. For the second time in a row, it was a French golfer to take lead at Kuneticka Hora. This is his first victory at the Challenge Tour.  He received a check for 26 400 Eur, a glass trophy and a unique wine set by Via Vini. The best result so far for Linard was his fifth place in Kenya. Today he has moved up to be the fifth in the Challenge Tour rankings.  The first fifteen will be handed the European Tour card. French golf is experiencing a steep rise which also being proven by the current Challenge Tour rankings. There are four French nationals in the first fifteen.

Lukas Tintera finished in the 46th position which is the best Czech ranking this year.  He got unlucky on the 18th where he played a double bogey.  Nevertheless, he was the one to be rewarded the most on the final day – he received a beautiful Fréderique Constant watch by Time Trade worth 1 million Czech for a hole-in-one and a special surprise prepared by Petr Dedek, the owner of the promoter agency. He gave Tintera a wild card for the European Tour Lyoness Open taking place near Vienna next week.

There was a great atmosphere at Kuneticka Hora, especially due to an impressive turnout of spectators. We are grateful to all. The next tournament organized by RELMOST-the D+D REAL Slovakia Challenge- is taking place at the Penati Golf&Spa Resort and will be played from 10 to 14 July.  In August, the peek event of the year– the D+D REAL Czech Masters of the European Tour –will be played on the Albatross golf course near Prague. We are looking forward to welcoming all!
